My Golden Future
After highschool, I would like to go into the medical field. I'm not exactly sure which branch I want to pursue yet. I've always been interested in biology so I think I would want to go into something that revolves around biology. I'm aiming to go to UBC and I will try my best to get there. Although, I do think I want to take a year off to get a job, save money, and travel a little bit. Then I think that it will be harder to get into a university. Plus, my parents suggest that I go directly into university or college after highschool. I think I want to stay in the province or may even go to UVIC. I still want to see which programs would be most beneficial for me and which schools offer them. I do want to stay somewhere familiar or just around people that I'm quite familiar with. It's scary to move to a whole new area with new people and adapt. I think I would want to stay in a dorm just to experience that atmosphere. Although, if I do stay close to home and go to UBC or SFU, I would just stay with my parents to save money. I could take public transit to get to my classes but I do live quite far away from the universties.

I agree with your thoughts on taking time off to travel and work, it would be really cool to travel and to have new experiences but I do think it'd be to get back into the routine of going to school
ReplyDeleteI agree i think you have a great idea of what you want in the future. Just pick something that makes you happy and that you wont regret your decision. I think traveling is smart you will have time for your self and to find what you really want to do.
